Professional Educators of Tennessee is conducting a legislative survey of educators across the state. “We understand that the next Governor and Tennessee General Assembly, both in the state budget and through legislative action need to address important policy areas,” according to Dr. JC Bowman, the association’s executive director.
“We continue to hear from our members on numerous issues. So, our focus is on the four most frequent areas that we hear from educators: School Safety & Security, Teacher Compensation and Recruitment, School Funding, and Assessment. We believe policymakers need to address these issues in 2019,” added Bowman.
Educators, both members and non-members, are invited to take our 10-minute survey prior to October 31, 2018, to help us inform the next Tennessee Governor and Legislators of which direction they should take across the state. Educators can click here to take survey or visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TNEdLeg.
